So today was the first day of my second semester in university. Design Studies class were so effin packed (Foundation + Diploma students), to the point where Emma, myself and a few other kids had to sit down on the floor (the other students took chairs from the other labs) (Emma and I couldn't be bothered to take 'em, haha). So we were briefed on what we're supposed to get for that module this semester, and the load of assignments waiting our way. And then, Miss E, being the most caring lecturer in the world, asked us to roughly create and design 10 logos (TEN!) that reflects who we are; due next Monday. FML.
My new apartment is great (if you minus the unusable fan at the hall). My room here is smaller than my room back home. Imagine sharing it with another person, lmao. Speaking of which, my roommate is kinda nice. She does her stuff, didn't even say anything when I came home at 2 am last night. I like the fact that we rarely talk to each other and that she minds her own business but just now she cheerfully said "Bye!" to me when she was about to go to class. I like that.
So as I'm writing this, I've got a few ideas on what I shall design/draw. The problem is, I've always had a problem with drawing. I cannot draw. Ever. I am pretty much convinced that the right side of my brain isn't fully developed. Woe is me.
Before I go, I want to tell you that I've installed the Theme Switcher plugin. It's on the sidebar. So yeah. Go and switch themes if you want.
Alright. I've talked to much. Bye.

It's cool that you have a decent relationship with your roomie that isn't intrusive. I love sharing the house with my mates, but I don't think I could handle sharing a room. Actually, I know I couldn't. I haven't had to since I was like 8, and I'm 21 now, so yeah…to suddenly have to again would do my nut in.
But then I guess it's kinda different because I've chosen who I get to live with. Which in some respects would make it worse to share a room because you're closer so more outspoken with each other, if that makes sense….?

I'm glad your room mate is a nice and not-so-nosey person! I too don't really like those nosey people, who need to know everything, haha.
Good luck with the 10 logo designs! I did graphic design several years ago, and like you, can't draw, haha.
Best of luck!

Sharing a room is so difficult, so I'm glad you're doing all right with your roommate! :D And it's good that she isn't nosy at all. I cannot live with a person who pries too much. Gosh.
Good luck with your assignment, love. Ten logos is insane, but you'll get there eventually :)
